In January 2018, Mark and Robert became joint owners of the business, continuing the company’s long-standing tradition of professional electrical expertise throughout the Borders region. Today, Mark leads the day-to-day operations of the business, with a strong focus on modern energy solutions including solar panel installation, EV charger installation, and energy-efficient electrical services for homes and businesses.

With a lifelong passion for the electrical industry, Mark began his career through an apprenticeship straight from school before gaining valuable experience across a wide range of electrical sectors. This broad industry knowledge has helped expand R.Wilson Electrical into new and evolving markets, allowing the business to offer specialist services in renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, domestic electrical work, and commercial electrical installations.
